Dr. Christina Garbayo PT, DPT Female Pelvic Floor Specialist
Originally from Covina, Ca, my home is now in Azusa with my husband and 2 dogs. I spent the majority of my childhood playing sports ranging from swim, tae kwon do, softball, soccer, and basketball, which propelled my interest to learn more about the body’s physical capacity, specifically recovering and preventing injury. I decided to stay local for university and earned my bachelor’s degree in applied exercise science from Azusa Pacific University in 2016. After graduating, I set aside time to focus on pre-requisite courses for PT school. I attended Western University of Health sciences and graduated in 2022 with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I recently became pelvic floor level 1 certified via Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute to serve populations who experience pelvic dysfunction, urinary incontinence, chronic pelvic pain (CPP), and pelvic organ prolapse. My hope is to continue learning in this field— whether it be orthopedics, women’s health, or sports PT to continue serving my community with the goal of restoring function in my patients. In my free time, I enjoy training for my next half marathon, golfing, or improving myself in CrossFit.
